Art Jamming @ Home: Sakura

4 Nov

Recently, I’ve painted some cherry blossoms, sakura, from a photo that I’ve taken during my hanami trip. This is the first time I’m painting something real-life. I find it much more difficult than doing abstract painting. What I feel is that abstract painting focuses on the ideas and concept and still-life painting focuses more on the painting skills. Of course, this is just my opinion, some of you experts out there may have different viewpoints. 😉

I’d say you did pretty well for a first-timer.
    What a delightful composition too.
